HALF CUBE ®

An ode of a creative process conceptualization to implementing new technology in an architectural space.

With evolution in materials, engineering proceses and developing new lifestyles that open unlimited possibilities and decision options comes the HALF CUBE® decision making process approach.

When one usually start's a project one visualizes the completion of the project as an everything, as 100% result of compleation.

As a photographer that developes spatial aesthetic perspectives IGNACIO CALLEJA™ recognized by the fuel of his creations that a big part of what one proposes to be created is what one doesn't create at all, making no statement here that one can not create it all (because one can unsustainably and deliberately create anything). Taking this in to conscious consideration within the creative process he defines the HALF CUBE® approach as taking in to 100% of the creation “the negative space” in a geometrical proportion of 50%.

He states that this idea evolves from iluminating subjects and how interchangeably as a photographer he takes his photographic registry decision making process by both placing prioritization on the iluminated portion and the shaded portion separately, individually and autonomously.

“At the end what makes aesthetics in a photography visible is by no other means the contrast that one inclusively takes in consideration.” -Ignacio Calleja, 2022

He then further analyses that…

“…a sustainable communication performance in a medium of representation is done in the balancing of both sides but only by prioritizing the whole results one half at the time, taking both halves simultaneausly as a priority is as unsustainable as being unpeaceful” Ignacio Calleja, 2022
